Practice Policies
Canceled Sessions and NO-SHOW Appointments:
Best therapeutic results come from regular
meetings but that is not always possible. Once you
make an appointment, that time is reserved specifically
for you. If you fail to cancel without sufficient
notice, someone else is deprived of that hour. Please
be mindful of others’ needs. Ample notification
will allow your spot to be filled by someone else.
If you cancel with less than a full working
day’s notice (24 hours) or if you fail to come
for your appointment, there is a charge of $110 due
prior to being seen again. This fee is Not Generally
covered by insurance.
Remember to call prior to 7:00 p.m.
the day before your appointment in order to avoid
a charge. If you are late for a scheduled session,
your session will be reduced by the amount of your
tardiness. After two (2) appointments have been scheduled
without you coming, I WILL NOT SCHEDULE you
another appointment. I will be happy to refer you
to another provider should this occur. Please remember
that there are exceptions to these policies which
would include dangerous weather conditions, family
emergencies, or other catastrophic events. Keep in
mind that life situations can also hinder your therapist
from time to time. Every possible effort will be made
to cancel or reschedule your appointment prior to
your arrival.
