Telephone Calls
Please be advised that calls made
or received on cellular phones are not necessarily
PRIVATE as they are not made on a secure phone line.
Sometimes it is important to call between
sessions and you may feel free to do so. If your call
can not be taken immediately, your call will be returned
as soon as possible. Keep in mind that it may be after
regular business hours before non-urgent messages
are returned. Therefore, you should always leave a
home number as well as the number you wish for me
to call with the secretary or answering service. I
try to answer calls between appointments if at all
possible, however, every effort will be extended to
return your calls by 9:00 p.m. on the day you call.
If you need to talk with me quickly or regarding a
crisis situation, please indicate to the secretary
or answering service that they need to contact me
immediately to return your call. You may also call
me directly by dialing 901-382-1804. Remember that
phone calls can not substitute for a therapy session.
Also, remember that calls made on cell phones are
not on secure lines. Therefore, if the anxiety or
situation can not be dealt with over the phone, an
appointment should be scheduled to handle the matter.
If you are experiencing, suicidal/homicidal thoughts
[thoughts of self harm or of harming others] please
go to the nearest emergency room or call 911.
