Judy P. King Biographical Sketch

Judy P. King is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
with over 23 years experience in the field of
social work. Mrs. King received her Masters of
Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University
of Tennessee-Memphis in June of 1982, and graduated
from the University of Mississippi in May of 1980
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Social
Work. She completed divorce mediation training
in 2002 and is listed as a Rule 31 Family Mediator
by the Tennessee Supreme Court Commission on Alternative
Dispute Resolution. She also received advanced
training in Domestic Violence through Private
Dispute Resolution Services in Chattanooga, TN
in 2003.
Mrs. King was selected as an item writer by the
Association of Social Work Boards in 2003 to prepare
questions for inclusion in credentialing examinations
within the United States and Canada, and has served
twice as an item writer for the ACSW exam sponsored
by the National Association of Social Workers.
Currently, she serves as and adjunct faculty
member of Southwest Tennessee Community College
and has served as a field placement instructor
for the University of Alabama School of Social
Work, Tuscaloosa.
